The Sixth Form at Wolverhampton Grammar School offers students opportunities in a range of academic, extra-curricular and skill based areas. The curriculum is shaped around A Levels and qualifications such as the Cambridge Technical Extended Certificates which are academic in focus and which enable students to gain access to 18+ options whether that be leading Russell Group universities like Oxford or Cambridge, vocational degrees and other university courses or higher apprenticeships and sponsored degrees.

In order to start your Sixth Form studies in the best manner possible you will need to undertake preparation work which must be completed before starting the Sixth Form in September. The reading and other source materials which can be found in the booklet below (see pdf link) will enable you to commence your studies with background knowledge to allow you to take a full part in lessons and start the Sixth Form in the most positive way. It’s essential that this work is done in timely fashion to ensure you set off on your Sixth Form career with the best approach, but you should only undertake the work for those subjects you have opted for in the Lower Sixth.
