Wolverhampton Grammar School has long been an iconic school for the city and region. Our large 23 acre campus located to the west of Wolverhampton city centre blends stunning architecture with sports and recreation fields.

Purpose built classrooms, laboratories and libraries, dedicated music and art studios together with the Viner Gallery (art gallery and exhibition space) and Hutton Theatre provide exceptional facilities that perfectly complement our academic achievements. Quiet study, reading and resource rooms provide calm areas for students who choose to arrive early to school or stay beyond their last lesson to complete homework or undertake additional research or study.

Our vast site also includes rugby, cricket, hockey and football pitches, netball courts, an all-weather astro turf and athletics track as well as a fully equipped sports centre with multi-gym and indoor courts for badminton, squash and basketball.

Our school is also a haven for wildlife with over 200 mature trees, a brook and resident beehives providing a natural and assisted habitat.

Away from campus – outdoor education, Duke of Edinburgh awards, work experience, volunteering and the opportunity to take part in sports tours and fixtures also enrich school life. Wolverhampton Grammar School students have opportunities to take part in international expeditions, field trips, exchanges and trekking.
