Wolverhampton Grammar School Commemorates Remembrance Day

Today, on Remembrance Day, we pay our respects to all of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of their country.

Pictured: Head, Mr Alex Frazer; Head Girl, Lizzie; and Head Boy, Brandon stand before the Big School memorial commemorating Old Wulfrunians who lost their lives in the First World War. On Monday 9th November a wreath was laid upon the cenotaph on Compton Road by the Head.

On that same morning the School’s history department gave an assembly to the Senior School, and this morning the whole School observed a two minutes silence at 11am.
