Extra & Co-curricular

Providing an exciting and fulfilling life outside of the classroom is key to a child’s physical, mental and social wellbeing, and is something we pride ourselves on offering at Wolverhampton Grammar School. Whilst the academic focus of the Sixth Form is still incredibly important, we also ensure our students get a balance in all that they undertake.

With over 100 Extra and Co-curricular activities, societies, clubs, academic workshops, trips and expeditions and sport tours, there really is something to suit all abilities and interests. Sixth Formers can also work with the Head of Sixth Form to start up new clubs or societies. The range of activities on offer is extremely diverse, with the likes of Political Forum, Climbing Clubs, Duke of Edinburgh Award, Computer Science Club to even a Gardening Club, the list is endless!

Our students can also hold exhibitions in our purpose-built Viner Gallery and even perform their productions in our industry standard Hutton Theatre. There are also opportunities for our Sixth Form students to support and guide younger pupils with similar interests.
