Senior School entrance test Saturday 13th January

Wolverhampton Grammar School’s Senior School entrance test for children hoping to join us in September 2018 is on Saturday 13th January 2018.

All candidates sitting the test on Saturday 13th January must be registered with the School. If you would like your child to sit the Entrance Test but have not yet registered please complete the Registration Form as soon as possible.

Children who have already registered are asked to arrive at main reception for 8.45am on Saturday 13th January where they will be greeted by a member of staff and welcomed to our School.

The formal part of the morning will consist of three short tests in verbal reasoning (30 minutes), maths (45 minutes) and English (45 minutes).   Children should bring a pen, a sharp pencil and a ruler for these (no other equipment is necessary).  Drinks and snacks will be available during the morning, though candidates may prefer to bring their own water bottle.

After the Entrance Test, all children will meet together in Big School – our main hall – where they will spend time with some of our current students and enjoy a Magic show.  We ask that all parents/guardians arrive at our Main Reception at 12.15pm to collect their child.
If you have any questions about the Entrance Test or registering your child for either the Junior School, Senior School or Sixth Form at Wolverhampton Grammar School please contact our Admissions Registrar, Jane Morris tel: 01902 421326 or email:
