Wrap around care

Students love being at Wolverhampton Grammar School and to help accommodate your child’s desire to take part in as many activities as possible, the School can deliver wrap around care from as early as 7.30am until 6.15pm.

Our approach is perfect for busy parents who need flexibility and ideal for students who want to make the most of their day at School.

Junior School

Children can arrive at School from as early as 7.30am and make use of our Breakfast Club. Early Morning Club from 8am ensures your child is set up for the day ahead – whether that’s time with the Head or their Class Teacher, or play on the playground.

Most children stay at after School for one of the many extra-curricular clubs or activities on offer. There really is something for everyone and all children can stay at School until 5.30pm at no extra charge to enjoy an activity or join in Homework Club.

For children with busy parents, a Late Club is available until 6.15pm. The Late Club allows children to rest and enjoy some ‘downtime’ before being picked up by parents. We request that parents try pick up their children no later than 6.15pm, but a member of staff will always remain with a child until parents arrive.

Senior School and Sixth Form

Our Libraries are the busiest places in School and are open from 7.30am until 5.30pm. A Homework Club from 4-5.30pm provides the perfect opportunity to work, read or just catchup with friends and staff – all under the supervision of Senior School teaching staff.

Most after School clubs run between 4:10pm until around 5.15. With over 100 extra and co-curricular clubs, sports training, activities, revision clubs and academic work clinics – there is something for everyone.

Senior School students can also use the Late Club in the Junior School until 6.15pm should you need to.
