Our Lower Sixth exhibition, ‘Identity’, celebrates our students’ individuality here at Wolverhampton Grammar School. This year, the Lower Sixth have successfully taken the initial project title in a variety of personal directions. Following workshops with practitioners from a range of artistic disciplines, including: Ed Isaacs, Oliver C Jones, James Millichamp and Neil Roberts, students have explored a wide range of media to produce their individual responses. Exploring new approaches has encouraged diversity both in media and substance. The works on show demonstrate each student’s chosen outcome after a term of exploration and investigation, with their ideas documented within their artist statements.
We look forward to seeing how the Lower Sixth cohort will continue to develop their independent ideas over the course of their A Level Portfolios.
