Wolverhampton Grammar School is proud to host an art exhibition celebrating A Level work from schools across the region.
The exhibition is sponsored by the Arts Society of Wolverhampton, who are delighted to award the judges three favourite pieces with individual prizes of £100. This is a fantastic opportunity for schools across the West Midlands to come together to celebrate all students and their exceptional work, alongside the reopening of the Viner Gallery following its closure during the pandemic.
Part of the show will also be dedicated to the successes of the British Art Show 9 (BAS9); a group of Wolverhampton Grammar School students worked with artist Sophie Huckfield to create a BAS9 film titled “Many Hands Make Light Work”, which will be displayed in the gallery and can be viewed online here.
Date & Time: Thursday 24th March, 5:30pm to 7:30pm and Saturday 26th March, 12pm- 3pm.
Location: The Viner Gallery, Wolverhampton Grammar School, Compton Road, Wolverhampton, WV3 9RB
Attendees to the exhibition are reminded to park on the main School site and not on neighbouring residential roads.
