Wolverhampton Grammar School Sixth Form has a strong track record of results and access to prestigious universities. We also offer one of the widest selection of Sixth Form subjects in the area and our students go on to achieve great things. We regularly review our curriculum to ensure subjects meet the needs of students and the requirements of the best universities.
Students can choose to study a diverse array of courses including traditional A Level subjects like mathematics, physics, chemistry, history and psychology alongside more specialised subjects like government and politics, economics, theatre studies and classical civilisation as well as the Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate.
By joining our Sixth Form you will have access to expert academic and subject knowledge alongside careers, higher education advice and guidance. Students can also choose from over 100 extra-curricular clubs and societies as well as opportunities to participate in sports, music, drama, outdoor pursuits and international expeditions and trips.
Our dedicated Sixth Form centre at Wolverhampton Grammar School provides a unique space and facility for our students. Expert teachers coach and mentor pupils from day one, to be independent and self-motivated learners. This not only prepares the best foundation for the academic experience with us, but also provides the best start to helping them secure their next opportunity.
Over the past three years, more than 90% of our students have gone to one of the UK’s top performing universities.
