Library Services

Wolverhampton Grammar Junior School has its own dedicated school library to meet the needs of our children during each stage of their development.

Children from the junior school also enjoy activities and clubs in the senior school’s main Jenyns Library including access to ICT facilities, a growing range of learning and e-learning resources and areas for children to simply relax and read.

To encourage a love of reading authors, poets and storytellers are regularly invited into school to lead writing workshops and book discussions. Literacy activities and book clubs also regularly take place in the junior school.

The school’s librarian Mrs Zoe Rowley encourages children to make full use of the books and resources available. She instils a love of learning from an early age and actively promotes reading for pleasure.
