Extra Curricular


Wolverhampton Grammar School offers the largest range of extra-curricular activities, clubs, societies, trips, international expeditions and sport tours of any independent school in the area.

The School supports over 100 extra curricular activities and there really is something to suit all abilities and interests. The range of activities on offer is diverse and includes everything from a Debating Society, Fives Club (a traditional Independent School sport), Acapella Choirs, Climbing Clubs, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Political Forum, Oil Painting workshops, Photography Club, an Economics Forum to Warhammer, Design & Technology Club, Forensic Science Club and even a Gardening Club!

Students can also set up new clubs or societies at any time.

Purpose built facilities for art (the Viner Gallery), music and drama (the Hutton Gallery) also provide the best venues possible for exhibitions, school and student productions.
