Wolverhampton Grammar School offers the largest range of extra-curricular activities, clubs, societies, trips, international expeditions and sport tours of any independent school in the area. See Life Outside the Classroom.
The School supports over 100 extra curricular activities and there really is something to suit all abilities and interests – view what’s happening in the Autumn Term here. The range of activities on offer is diverse and includes everything from a Debating Society, Acapella Choirs, Climbing Clubs, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Political Forum, Oil Painting workshops, Photography Club and an Economics Forum.
Whether it be sport, music, drama or an academically focussed society, the Sixth Form offers a huge range of opportunities for students to pursue. Sixth Formers can also work with the Head of Sixth Form to start up new clubs or societies.
Purpose built facilities for art (the Viner Gallery), music and drama (the Hutton Gallery) also provide the best venues possible for exhibitions, school and student productions.
Sixth Formers not only benefit from learning about a new skill or interest (or developing an existing one), but also get the opportunity to support and guide younger pupils with similar interests. Most of all, our clubs and societies are about having fun and embracing school life.
