The TES awards celebrate those making remarkable strategic contributions to independent schools across the UK, providing benchmarks for the sector as a whole and networking opportunities for schools to learn from each other. All shortlisted schools demonstrate value for money to their parents.
Kathy Crewe-Read, Head of Wolverhampton Grammar School said “We are delighted to reach the finals of this prestigious, national award for the second year running. It’s an incredible achievement and every single member of our School community should be proud of the contribution they make every day. This award recognises that despite being one of the oldest schools in the country, we remain very much at the forefront of great education.”
Entry is open to all independent Schools across the UK and it has been announced that Wolverhampton Grammar School is a finalist in the “Senior Leadership Team of the Year” category.
The overall winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in London in February 2018.
Wolverhampton Grammar School has also been awarded the 2017 Midlands Enterprise Award for Best Independent School.
