FORMER STUDENT SUPPORTS THE TEENAGE CANCER TRUST

This month former Wolverhampton Grammar School student Paul Griffiths (OW 1984) completed the Marathon des Sables, a race which takes over 6 days to complete 150 miles and as crazy as it might sound this is the second time he has completed it.

Paul and his wife had a very close call with the health of their daughter Ellie (also a former student OW 2013) last year and thankfully following surgery, and finding nothing more sinister, she has now made a full recovery. Motivated by his own family’s experiences and wanting to help others with young children affected by cancer and living with the constant fear of not knowing what the future holds, Paul’s decision to support the Teenage Cancer Trust was obvious and straightforward.

If you have a few spare pounds then please donate to his JustGiving page and help families and children having a pretty miserable time of it.

Our students relationship with School doesn’t just end when they leave. We have thousands of former students (known as Old Wulfrunians) located worldwide. Visit our website alumni pages to learn more about our alumni community.
