Forged in Metal Year 9 Art Exhibition

March 5, 2015 4.00pm - 6.00pm

Wolverhampton Grammar School’s Viner Gallery is hosting a free, open exhibition in celebration of the industrial heritage of the Black Country.

Year 9 students will showcase a variety of techniques including printmaking, painting and drawing during the exhibition which has been created following a visit to the Black Country Living Museum.

The exhibition will also include two original oil paintings currently on loan from Wolverhampton Art Gallery by Edwin Butler-Bayliss entitled ‘In the Black Country’ and ‘Black Country Skyline’.

This open, public exhibition of work will showcase the breadth and quality of work by our students. Their work sits seamlessly within the exhibition, intertwined alongside a professional artist.

Our Viner Gallery is located on our main school site on Compton Road, Wolverhampton WV3 9RB. The school has ample car parking and public bus services from Wolverhampton run regularly past our school.
