Adam Birch March 2017We are delighted to welcome Shrewsbury artist Adam Birch, a graduate of Wolverhampton University who will be holding a solo art exhibition at Wolverhampton Grammar School.

Adam is a prolific portrait and equine artist, and has painted for a plethora of noteable clientele across the UK including the Catholic Church, Wolverhampton University and more recently Henry Tudor House in the centre of Shrewsbury.  He undertakes commissions all over the world from his studio.

The exhibition will be held in our Viner Gallery on the following dates:

  • Private View: Thursday 9th March, between 5.30pm – 8pm
  • Open Day: Saturday 1st April, between 12noon and 3pm

He was shorted listed for the final selection of this year’s international BP portrait award.

PARKING: To ensure minimum disruption to our local residents during this exhibition we ask that you park in the dedicated car park on the main school grounds and take the short walk to the Viner Gallery in the Arts and Drama building. Please do not park or collect your child from the residential roads surrounding the school including Merridale Lane and Merridale Avenue. Staff will be on hand to direct you if necessary.
