Congratulations to all our Year 11 students who have performed exceptionally well. The numbers in brief:
80 pupils from the School – recently judged “Excellent” in all areas following an inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate – studied towards an incredible 772 GCSE/iGCSE. An impressive 455 A* or A grades were awarded to Wolverhampton Grammar School students – that’s over a quarter of all students who will be celebrating 9 or more passes at A*- A.
Kathy Crewe-Read, Head of Wolverhampton Grammar School said “Congratulations to every one of our Year 11 students. Excellent teaching, hard work and determination really does pay off. The School’s choice of iGCSE subjects has also enabled students and teaching staff to focus on learning and not on the national concerns about GCSE reforms and introduction of a new grading scale.”
