Bav is responsible for supporting pupils in reaching their life goals. This may relate to their educational, emotional and or career-related concerns.
Bav has worked within the corporate sector as well as for charities. She has been a counsellor for nearly 20 years, with a breadth of clinical experience, ranging from setting up a counselling project for Asian women with a dual diagnosis in London to counselling University students through difficult times in the West Midlands for over a decade.
She has extensive experience in working with mental health and addictions and facilitates a range of different workshops and relaxation-based group sessions for clients from all different backgrounds.
Bav enjoys supporting students; empowering them to feel confident enough to move forward with their lives. She truly believes that working with and facilitating change in any individual is a humbling and privileged position to be in.
“The School is unique with a real sense of family and community. From the outset, I can see that the pupils are happy, polite and confident. To support such students – possibly through difficult and challenging transitions during their time at the School, is an important and integral part of my role.
I am proud to be a part of such a special place where care, a good sense of direction and support can enable pupils to achieve, flourish and accomplish all that they can as individuals.”
Bav lives in Worcestershire and is a mum of two.
Out of work, you will usually find her capturing moments on her camera and editing photos. She loves to be creative in all that she does and enjoys socialising with friends and family. Bav enjoys baking and cooking up big feasts whenever possible.
