Steve is responsible for the social and emotional care of our Year 9 students in his role as Head of Year

Steve teaches Yr7- 13 Design Technology and oversees the PSHE programme as well as teaching some Mindfulness.

Steve is interested both in student’s mental health and the role technology has in pushing the boundaries of education.

Steve established and tutors our school’s Magic Circle, teaches Mindfulness, runs after school DT sessions and supports the DT Department with our Engineering Education Students and Arkwright Scholars


Steve’s teaching career has included posts at independent and state schools where in addition to Design Technology he has also taught both Art and Drama. He has also worked commercially in the executive telecoms industry as a Headhunter. He/she has worked for Wolverhampton Grammar School since 2013.

Steve lives with his wife and 2 children and practices Magic at every opportunity.
