Wolverhampton Grammar School
Rachel is responsible for teaching Italian to students in both the junior and senior schools.
Rachel is re-launching the school’s Italian exchange programme (after many years off running trips due to the expansion of the Munson family).
Rachel is also a keen Francophile, and also supports the teaching of French.
Rachel is a senior netball coach and leads the school’s thirds netball squad.
Having completed her PGCE at St. Martin’s college, Lancaster University, Rachel became the first teacher of Italian at Wolverhampton Grammar School in 1994.
She is now part-time teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, a role which she enjoys immensely.
“Wolverhampton Grammar School is such a rewarding place in which to work; with students who continue to amaze, with their ability to combine academic studies with drama, music and sport. I also really love working with my colleagues in the department.”
Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, and exploring her creative side with crochet, baking, and tinkling on the piano. Her real passion is swimming; both pool and open water.
