Peter Began teaching in Edmonton, North London. Moved to Head of Department in Woodford Green, Essex. Moved with young family to Welshpool, taught in Leominster, Shrewsbury sixth form college and Llanidloes, Powys before moving to WGS in 2000

“Leaving every school you think you will miss the staff the most and that, over time, tends not to be the case. I have been at WGS for almost two decades precisely because many colleagues have become warm friends. They are unswervingly intelligent, good company and have been demonstrably kind on many occasions. That stability underpins every student’s limitless opportunity here, should they wish to take it.”
