As Head of Boys’ Games, Nigel overseas the provision of all sports across the range of senior age groups. His aim is to try and provide as many opportunities as possible, for all students to represent their school at all levels, in all the sports the school offers.

Nigel is also Deputy Head of Sixth Form, and in that position supports the Head of Sixth Form in a pastoral and academic role, ensuring that our Sixth Form students receive the support that they need in this important two years of their time in education.

Nigel is heavily involved in coaching a range of sports, mainly across the senior end of the school.

As coach of both the 1st XI Football and Cricket teams, he enjoys working with the many talented sportsman that the school has within the senior years.

As SSAW Badminton Secretary, Nigel organises the City tournaments and badminton leagues.

Within school, he is also involved in the coaching of rugby, tennis and athletics.

Having taught for a year at RGS Worcester, Nigel has now been at WGS for nineteen years.
