Nichola teach’s academic Music throughout the senior school including KS3, GCSE and A level Music. She also currently coordinates instrumental tuition, instrumental examinations and the large team of visiting music teachers.
As a first study flautist, Nichola also teaches the flute at WGS.

In the busy life of the music department Nichola also runs several ensembles and events including Bella A Cappella, Flute Choir, Big Band and Jazz Spectacular.

As a singer she performs in the alto section of the senior choir and also performs in the flute choir, string ensemble and cello quartet.

Nichola has been teaching for over 20 years.  Her teaching career has included posts at independent and state schools including The Earls High School and The Arthur Terry School. Nichola has worked for Wolverhampton Grammar School since 2006.

Nichola lives with her family in Wolverhampton. Nichola enjoys escaping the city with her husband and boys to be by the Cornish coast to surf, body board and hike. Skiing and cycling in the Alps are an annual trip too.

Nichola has recently taken up the cello alongside Year 7 beginners and is determined to make it to Grade 8 by the time she leaves school!

In her free time she make luxury body products including soaps and candles.

She also loves a trip to majestic wine, delicious food and the company of good friends and family.
