Clare is a Year 5 Class Teacher and form tutor. She teaches Year 5 Maths, English, Art, Geography, History and girls Games. She also teaches a Skills Cookery session in the Junior School.

Clare also helps deliver a girls sports after school club and runs a weekly Scrabble club for the juniors on a Friday lunchtime.

“There is such a sense of community in this school. The children have a real appetite for learning and try their hardest at everything they do. Every child is encouraged to find the ‘thing’ that inspires them.”

Clare lives in Shropshire and loves keeping fit running with her husband (including running half marathons).

To unwind she loves walking her mad little dog and riding across the countryside. She also enjoys fly fishing and in the summer makes the trip up to the Findhorn to fish for salmon.
