Amy teaches on a part-time basis in the Junior School.

Outside the classroom, Amy works with the Junior Choir.

Before joining Wolverhampton Grammar School, Amy taught for 11 years in state schools across Hertfordshire, Essex and Cheshire. She was Deputy Head of a Primary School for four years before taking a break from her career to have her daughter.  She joined Wolverhampton Grammar School in 2016.

“The way in which staff and students care for, respect and value each other creates a wonderfully warm and supportive atmosphere in which everyone is encouraged to be the best person they can be. It is a real privilege to be part of such an incredible community.”

Amy lives with her family in Bridgnorth. She loves singing with the Bridgnorth Community Pop Choir and makes the most of any opportunity to play her flute with local orchestras and wind bands. Amy is a keen but very amateur baker and inflicts her culinary creations on her family at regular intervals; they don’t seem to mind too much though!
